The Erotic Realm podcast explores eroticism in all its forms, including the darker desires of BDSM and kinky sexuality. It’s mission is to humanise eroticism one erotic realm at a time.

In this episode I’m joined by Desmond, known in the kink community as Rapidash, for our first exploration into the psychology of pony play and human animal roleplay.

We explore:

What pony play actually is and why people are drawn to it.
Why pony play isn’t primarily sexual for Desmond.
How latex, masks, bridles and tack facilitate psychological transformation.
Service, devotion and the relationship between a pony and handler.
The importance of community in transforming a private fantasy into an embodied identity.
Whether entering pony space represents escaping yourself — or becoming more fully yourself.
