What about the creation of sound by talking? Or as one lover once said, “You are a talker.” I like to talk to turn me on as much as I hope to excite my lover. And I want a response. “Open yourself more. I want to go deeper. I want all of you.” for example. I remember that went over particularly well with one woman I knew.

yes that’s definitely part of auralism :) did you check out the survey? It asks if you have a preference for giving or recieving sounds

I suppose I like giving and receiving equally. I suppose I am just really enthralled by erotic sound. Sex is just everything all together all at once. Sound, smell, touch and most of all emotion. If it is good, it is the emotional connection like no other. If it’s bad, it is nice sensation followed by isolation. Isolation first. The loneliness takes time to develop.

According to the statistics presented, it would seem that we Latin Americans are erotically deaf!!! Lol!!!😭😭😭! Beyond that, the topic is fascinating and a hot-button issue. Excellent!

Hello, and thanks for responding to my comment! The statistics from this fascinating study suggest that, in the Latin American context, either the "erotics of sound" aren't part of our sexual habits, or the data is missing. Personally, I can attest that Latin American women tend to be very expressive, which actually enhances the pleasure of such a special moment. I’ve discussed this with several Latin American women here in the U.S., and they’ve said that, due to cultural factors and to avoid their American partners thinking "the wrong way" about them, some feel inhibited from vocalizing those delightful sexual sounds. It would be great if you could delve deeper into this aspect. It would be fascinating to learn more about the erotic nature of Latinas born and raised in Latin America versus those born—or arrived at a young age—in the United States. The latter group seems to exhibit more restrained sexual and erotic habits, likely due to their desire to avoid being labeled as "sexual animals." I confess that I'm no expert on the subject. I'm merely offering my personal perspective, driven by curiosity and the statistics you presented, which undoubtedly raise many questions! Best regards, Emma!

Oh...my God! I've been trying to figure this out about myself for 30+ years, where this predilection/predispostion comes from. I've also done a lot of v/o work, so can I recognize within a few seconds what flips my internal switches. In the absence of an external 'sound source', I will tend to fill it in for myself. Thank you so much for this article, it was very helpful. I'm going to take your survey, now!

Such a great read, I put it off knowing I would want to take my time.

I would say, the sound of a zipper is actually quite exciting, probably from conditioning.

Also, I wonder if scent can provoke a similar response too.
